The fashion system has given us a new extraordinary event – obviously, we’re talking about the Balenciaga fashion show in Los Angeles.
The historic fashion house, under the creative guidance of the visionary Demna, chose none other than the iconic Hollywood Sign in Los Angeles as the backdrop for its exceptional Fall/Winter 2024 runway. The prestigious brand transformed the catwalk into a breathtaking spectacle, with Cardi B and Brigitte Nielsen as runway stars and special guests including Kim Kardashian, Brooklyn Beckham, and his wife Nicola Peltz, as well as Kendall Jenner, Eva Longoria, the legendary Nicole Kidman, and many other celebrities.

The inspiration for this collection draws from the wellness culture symbolic of Los Angeles, translated into trendy and captivating pieces. Leggings, hoodies, and voluminous sneakers dominated the show, paired with everyday accessories like smartphones, water bottles, and Starbucks-like coffee mugs, giving rise to an extremely contemporary urban style.
The collection ranged from velour tracksuits inspired by the Juicy Couture aesthetic to grunge outfits, featuring flip-flops and Ugg-style padded boots that added an incredible touch of style. Additionally, tweed fabric highlighted elegance in a series of refined outfits, showcasing the distinctive versatility of Balenciaga.
Finally, with creations inspired by the Oscars Night, Demna presented monumental dresses of timeless elegance, perfect for the red carpet of the most glamorous event of the year.

But the surprises didn’t end there. On the same day as the show, Balenciaga announced Nicole Kidman as its new brand ambassador. The actress will continue to nurture her long-standing relationship with the brand, collaborating with them officially. Her new role was celebrated with a portrait by the documentary photographer Platon, known for capturing some of the most fashionable and revolutionary personalities around the world.
“Balenciaga has been by my side during some of the most memorable events of my life, from weddings to the Oscars red carpet. I am excited to collaborate as an ambassador and look forward to creating new memories together,” said Kidman.
